So I got some new summer clothes after I complained so affluently at my last post. After toying with the idea of investing in some brand new, good quality skirts and shirts... I resorted to my good ol' standby, Goodwill. Goodwill always has by husband's blessing ;) Hey, that'd be a cute bumper sticker, wouldn't it?
I also mistakenly bid on an ebay skirt. It was one of those auctions that I really didn't think I would win, and so I bid cheaply, and then three days later I find out that I'm the lucky winner. After I already spent my clothing money at Goodwill. Oops. Sorry honey. Looks like we'll add one more skirt to the new collection. Good thing it was reasonably priced. $24 is more than I usually spend, but it was an Anthropologie skirt that is of fine quality, which I also plan on using as a bridesmaid skirt in my sister's wedding. So, double whammy. (phew)
My sister Carrie had her baby last week! Jonathan Gregory arrived safely into the world, in a much less dramatic birth than his older sister's, thank God. He is a very sweet little boy, very peaceful and dreamy. Unlike his older sister and cousin Froggy, who are bound to give this little boy some trouble ;) hehehe
And it is indeed Anniversary season, as Job and I celebrated our 2nd year anniversary last Tuesday. He's a gem, and I'm continually reminded of that each day, both through my own little epiphanies and friends and family who remind me as well. How fortunate I am.... I thank God, and I thank St. Xenia, who had her hand in it as well. :D Praise God! We celebrated with a dinner out to McMenamin's Mission Theater, which provided us with dinner AND a movie in one go. So, good food and "Blades of Glory" equals a good time by all. Big thanks to Gramma Marmee and Grandpa Greg for taking care of the Mooshball.
I hope you are all well! Ta ta for now :)

happy anniversary! Many years!
Happy Anniversary! And welcome little Jonathan Gregory!
Fr. Paul and I celebrate 18 years this Sunday. Gee, we must be getting old!
Hibi and I also did some Goodwill shopping on Saturday....her feet have been growing like crazy--you think I'm going to pay retail for shoes that will be defunct in three weeks? I don't think so. She found some church shoes at the Goodwill on Broadway--that's a great one, especially for books! There's a Goodwill closer but it's a lousy one. I even found some clothes--no summer clothes, though. :-( But next winter I'll be smashing in red and black.
Sigh. Once again my daughter has signed into her account and I didn't realize before I posted. That last comment was me, Elizabeth.
Happy, happy Anniversary! Many Years!
And, whohooooo on the new baby - Jonathan Gregory - what a lovely name.

As a total side note...did you remove the "addicted to decaf" from your banner??
I didn't realize that you've been married for 2 years. I thought you had a year on us, I guess not, just a couple months! Happy Anniversary!
