I thought I'd jump in this year, since I've been sewing for nearly six years now, and probably have enough "me-mades" to get me through the month. I may not have an exclusively handmade wardrobe... or any photography skills whatsoever... or any self-discipline when it comes to blogging on a weekly/ regular basis... but oh well! Here I go.
You'll probably see a lot of repeat clothing items. As creature of habit and a stay-at-home mom, I don't really need a fancy, varied wardrobe. I do try to look nicer for church, so there... you have something to look forward to. :D That said, sewing does help me keep the wardrobe interesting, and so hopefully my documentation will not bore you too much.
Like I said, I don't have any fancy self-photographing methods. Nor do I have consistent locations or cool backdrops. I don't like subjecting family members to take pics of me, and if I ever do get a willing volunteer, I'm usually too embarrassed to ask for more than 1 or 2 pics.
But hopefully this exercise will help me learn more about my wardrobe (i.e. what I gravitate towards and why, plus what figurative "gaps" I need to fill in my wardrobe), sewing habits, and to assess my strengths and weaknesses as a sewer... sewist... uh... no right way to write that word.
Oddly enough... So far I've already discovered I have a tendency to tilt my head to the right when posing for photos.

And this is me, realizing how much work this is gonna be. Ha! No no, it's fun. :)
