Transiguration icon-- I found a good use for those icons you get in Orthodox newsletters (I hate throwing away anything with icons printed on it; and since we don't have a working fireplace, I can't burn them, as is proper). I've always wanted to reuse the icon-images, but I never had the time. I'd like to get into the habit of covering them with laminate sheets, and adding the Feast Day hymn on the back.
Just a few snapshots, but it's been a good summer, all things considered. Glory to God!

last year, I made lots of little ornaments from the tiny icons in the Conciliar Press catalog...and gave them as gifts!
What a great idea......and that fuzzy picture is too cute- very Karl Laarsonesque. (sp)
