This is an oldie but a goodie... taken, I believe, last July, by my friend. Our daughters are just a few months apart, and they're a fun little duo! I just love this picture and thought I'd share it.

Well, January is nearly gone. I find it difficult to gather the momentum to charge through the new year. Last year I had a new baby and "new house" prospects which instantly charged the year with "to-do" lists and "busy"ness. Life has slowed down, and this year is a blank slate so far. No huge "moves" on the horizon.... no milestones that we know of. 2009 is ready to write itself.... and I'm left wondering what exactly will be written.

Cute photo, but what are they looking at? A collapsed playground?

Very cute picture! Sometimes it's nice to not have that very long to-do list... I am slightly envious of my sister moving to russia BUT I see all the things she is doing/has to do to move her family there plus throw in the new baby! Aacckk! Right now, in this moment, you can just sit back and enjoy the ride, so to speak. And don't worry, God will bring a little adventure into your life. I have found He always does:)

Ooooh-

Nothing like summer sundresses &
little girlfriend hugs on a summer afternoon.

What a great image on this cool frosty foggy day.

It's been a long winter.

Thanks for the reminder "this too shall pass!"

That picture is one of my all-time favorites! I remember introducing my mother-in-law to the moms that day; it sounded like a joke but was totally real:, "This is Katie, Katie, Katie, Katherine, Kathleen, Christina, and Carrie."

Our calendar is already so full it makes me sick. I often wish I could just wipe it all clean. But it is fun to think of the potential the new year brings.

Thank you for devoting a quiet moment on your blog to that thought!
