I love that picture of grandpa with Vasilia. It reminds me of how God holds us in the palm of HIs hand. It's so comforting to know dad/gpa- is peacefully in God's hands too.
Beautiful photo to remember by (I am staggered by the number of grand-babies, wow, God is Good! :) May Gator rest in peace and watch over all his loved ones: my kids also remember him as a kind and loving man with a sense of humor-they really liked both your grandparents! What a blessing to know (or have known) them. Thank you for the picture and the link! God bless, Helen

May his memory be eternal.

I am so thankful that Kirsten got to know her Great-Grandpa Gator a little bit, at least. I am so grateful for the legacy of faith he leaves behind.
I ask Kirsten where Gator is, and she says "with [Theo]tokos".
Out of the mouths of babes...
Love,
Carrie

What a beatuful obituary for a beautiful man. Thank you for sharing.
And, now I know where Froggy got her awesome middle name.
May his Memory be Eternal.
That is an awesome picture! And 26 great-grandchildren! That's just amazing!!!
Just read the obit. Interesting to note that Gator graduated from the same seminary my husband did! Though quite a bit earlier!
