This is a shot of our little "Christmas corner," complete with mini-tree (which my mom lovingly bought for us at Trader Joe's), icons and "wreath." hahaha.
A close up of the tree, and our little "gift." Okay, having my belly exposed on the 'net probably isn't very appropriate... I apologize. But I think I've grown twice as big since last week's photo. Eh?
The stocking is almost complete! I'm done with everything, except now I have to sew up the sides. I'm going to try to wait until this weekend so that I can use my mom's sewing machine for that part. I'm working on sewing a bird onto "the boot," as well as another red cordouroy Christmas tree ornament I plan to give away for a secret Santa this weekend.
One last shot of our "Nativity corner." This ought to make up for not having a Nativity scene, don't you think? It's been funny getting into Christmas stuff, and decorating Job and I's first apartment. We have (electric) candles in the window too! Now I have a rare and glorious three day weekend ahead of me, and I plan to work on my little "handycraft" projects and some makeshift Christmas cards. Speaking of which-- to all my out-of-state blogger friends-- if you'd like a Christmas card I'd love to send you one! Just e-mail me at steveandkatiesixfiveohfiveatyahoodotcom (substitute number words for actual numeral, etc.)

I LOVE the stocking! That little angel is so cute. Nice job.
Your tummy looks bigger to me, but it does have that shadow.
I have a smaller version of the same Nativity icon.
I love the stocking as well, and yes you've grown since last belly post (I love belly posts, so no worries here)
Beautiful Navitivy icon corner!
looks so cozy...can I come over and bring a decaf latte? i love the stocking, as well..nice work! did you design the angel? i like it :)
Dawn you are right, perhaps the shadow makes le belly look bigger!
I'm so glad you all approve of the tummy pic and the angel stocking. The little angel does happen to be an original design (I'm worried the halo looks like a blonde afro, though...?).
Sara (and anyone else who wants to hop an imaginary plane and visit me),
Yes, please come over :) We'll drink decaf together and chill in my cozy shoebox. Bring the kids! hehe.
In fact, ALL of you can come over! :D
mimi and i are planning on a road trip soon
Nah, the yellow halo doesn't look like an afro to me. It looks like a halo. If you don't think so, just sew on some brown fringes on the top so they hang down like little girl bangs.
I must say...the belly pic...well, I just know that I think they're okay. A-la Demi Moore. I dunno, just my .02 and cheap at that.
Forgive me.
