BRIGHT WEEK Updates

Banana Man Joe, look for him in the produce aisle

Job (as in occupation, not Steve)?
Yes! Oblation! Hurrah! God is good! Thank you to St. Xenia, whose prayers have helped much, I know for sure. I went in for training, and the people I'm going to work with are very friendly and personable. The shop always inspires me, with all the rich colors and beautifully crafted products.

Graduation? Yes! It happened... just barely :) Glory to God in the highest! It's DONE.

Wedding stuff? It's getting taken care of. Thank you to my mama, and all of the amazing, wonderful folks who are helping her/us out! Invitations are absolutely beautiful (Oblation again....) and they're sent off! I've got extras, though, so if you'd like one, let me know! Yes, I'm very excited (I seem to be asked that a lot... I guess I thought it was kind of a given.).

Art show? My senior thesis exhibit was up for two weeks. I don't think I mentioned that here on TDGB I'm going to go take down my paintings in the gallery today. I recieved lots of positive feedback, which was very encouraging. My profs said I've got the talent to show in more "upscale" galleries... so who knows? I'll try to work on a larger body of work and see what happens...

Pascha? Christ is Risen! Christos Anesti! A joyous, heavenly and festive feast. Words can't describe.

Kirsten? Just for good measure, I thought I should add a word about the blogosphere's most talked about baby (hehehe... okay, maybe not). She's doing wonderfully! So are her momma and papa. I got to be with her a lot during Holy Week services, etc. She's getting very chubby cheeks, which makes her aunties and uncles very, very happy :) She's smiling, and absolutely beautiful! She looks a lot like her daddy, with her mommy's smile. Wherever she goes, she's bombarded with love. I'm surprised she doesn't scream from the overstimulation. But then again, she's recieved it non-stop from day 1!

Me? I'm not as stressed, sick or hungry as I was last week! Yay! Please forgive me for all of this "boasting."
