My lunchbox is packed, my new clothes are pressed, my hair is combed, my teeth are brushed (I promise, Mom!), my face is washed, and I've got an apple for my teacher... all six of them.
Okay, so I don't really have a lunchbox, it's just a granola bar and a bottle of water. But everything else is true (except for the apples...and the pressed new clothes). Today is my first day of school. I'm starting my senior year of college today. I'm all moved out of my parents house, and into my housing for the schoolyear. My current house does not have internet, so between homework and running errands and work, I might not have a whole lot of time for blogging. But, don't give up on me; I will try to post at least twice a week, if not more. I won't construct a rigorous blogging schedule (i.e. "Tues. and Thurs." or whatnot), you'll just have to trust me and check in now and again :D
Your prayers would be treasured. I'm going to miss my family (I'm such a baby!), as this summer was the last time I'll be living with them! Yep, next time I move, I'll be moving into a little apartment with my husband! Even though I've lived on my own before, it's tough to get back into the groove... Money is low, and it's a huge temptation to worry about it constantly. But today I woke up and I decided, "I'm not going to worry about it today." I suppose it's all a choice. Well, it's times like these when I need imitate St. John the Baptist who, as Fr. Theodore put it in his sermon yesterday, lived SIMPLY. (*snarl) Looks like locust's back on the menu, boys!
Well, that's it for now. I hope you all have a wonderful morning. You'll hear from me soon :)
God bless you and keep you in His care!
