Honey Bee Buzz! Fantastic Orthodox summer reading!

Hi everyone!  I'm excited to make an edifying plug for a great Orthodox website!
My good friend Thomaida just completed nearly 7 months of world-traveling and documented it on her website HoneyBeeBuzz.org.  She was able to spend time with some amazing Orthodox ministries in India and Israel, and made pilgrimages to many ancient Orthodox landmarks in western Europe.

If you like to travel, or just enjoy living vicariously through the adventures of other people, then you'll love her beautiful website!  Thomaida is multi-talented, and her writing and photography are magnificent.  I hope you take a minute to visit her site and admire her Arc-hive (isn't that the cutest?) of beautifully-crafted newsletters which are filled with amazing photos of holy sites, breath-taking city-scapes, plus the lovely people she met along the way. (I would insert direct links, but the newsletters are in easy-to-view PDF format).

I tend to veer on the side of armchair traveler, so before Thomaida left for her travels last November, I was eager to send her off with a hand-sewn gift.  A breezy voile Tova to be exact (lengthened, with collar omitted). Because hey, if I can't travel, then I want to send my handiwork out into the world in my place :)  For those who delight in some corny alliteration....

................... This is Thomaida in her Tova tunic at the Taj Mahal!!!    or.... this is traveling Thomaida in her tubular Tova tunic at the titanic Taj Mahal!
                                                   or....  ok, I'm done.  :)

Just a few of her travel destinations:

The Theotokos' Girls Orphanage just south of Kolkata in India
The Orthodox School of Bethany in Bethany, Palestine
The Holy Sepulchre during PASCHA!
Breton, France
Munich, Germany
This is just the tip of the iceberg, too!  So grab a cup of chai or a teeny cup of Arabic coffee, fetch your e-reader or cozy up to the computer and enjoy!

Thomaida is just as friendly as she is adventurous and articulate, so please feel free to contact her via her website's blog, especially if you have any questions about the various ministries she visited!  Thanks so much, and ENJOY!
