Happy Birthday to my firstborn child! Pretty incredible how much time has flown. As is the current situation, this girl is likely to celebrate many-a-birthday during Holy Week in her life... which is unique in more ways than one. For me, it coincides with my entrance into motherhood; a very vivid time of my life spiritually, physically, emotionally, and yet I'm still growing! I'm still getting used to it! Not unlike the Faith (and very-much entwined); it is a never-ending journey. May God grant my sweet girl many years and preserve her sweetness, joy and wonder. May she strive towards God always, just as we all strive through Holy Week and anticipate all that is to take place.

I so remember your "labor pains" growing stronger, as you sat in morning Liturgy during Holy Week 5 years ago!! ( Vasi told me what a "blessing it is to have a birthday during Holy Week!) She blesses us with her loving and kind spirit- what a treasure- thank you God!!
