Firsty Day!

Last Monday was V.'s first day of pre-school! She was thrilled; I'm still not sure if she slept a wink or not. For a solid 48 hours before her first day, she kept asking me if I'd made her lunch or not. It was cute the first 2 times--hehehe.



Here she is lining up with her classmates! Bye bye, big girl!


No tears for Mommy, oddly enough! Perhaps seeing the way she bolted to the entry way and instantly met up with her buddies... I knew she was so excited. However, S. was sad to see V. go...



Her frown got turned upside-down (literally!) once she found out we were heading to Peet's to see Grandma and Grandpa! I'm not sure they make smiles much bigger!

After we dropped V. off on the following day, S. piped up: "Let's go somewhere!" haha!
And of course I must include a photo of the Tall Man (in his grandpa's hat). This boy has two bottom teeth (see them?) and is growing THREE more! That's a lot of teeth! He's still a darling... I just squeeze him all day long!

So we made it. Week one is done, and tomorrow starts a new week! I'm actually waking up with the rest of civilization (6:30-7-ish), which is a HUGE adjustment. I think it's good for me, though. I'm learning how to adjust life to this new schedule. Basically: less sewing/crafting/blogging/reading and much more sleep! *shrug* Let's hope that will change, though! The main thing is that V. had a great week, with good reports from her teachers, and so far she just loves it. Glory to God!
