Complete Dominator

I thought my husband had a low voice... This guy, in the words of Job, is a "A Complete Dominator." When I heard it at first, I envisioned the bass voice as coming from a 60 year old, burly man with a huge beard. What a surprise!

We just got back from another business-trip-turned-vacation to see my sister and her family in Santa Rosa. We had a great time (well, hubby had to work in San Francisco the whole time), but it was really nice. Our adventures will now come to a close... no foreseeable trips or vacations in the near future as we prepare for the new baby and everything. Job and I are pretty sure that we'll be enrolling Vasi in pre-K this fall. I have spent the last year or so trying to figure out the whole homeschool vs. "somewhere else" internal debate. There were times when I felt really passionately about homeschooling. But the truth is, I know V. would just love the interaction with other children, even if it is just 3 mornings a week. She will be four in the fall, and I remember going to preschool at that age and really liking it. We are weighing a few options... not quite sure where the dust will settle there. I'm thankful that I (we) took a long time to deliberate, pray and think it over. Fortunately we can always change our minds, too :)

I am so glad you got to go to San Francisco!

And, I love deep, deep voices. Especially in the choir!

wow!

how fun for vasi! i am grateful that for the homeschooling/not homeschooling we don't have to "be married" to either one. it's really the only way i can get through it, ha! :)

That was my whole approach to preschool for Johnny. Let's just see how it goes and we'll pull him out if it's not working for us. He LOVES it. It's only 2 hours/ 3 days a week. How wonderful that Vasi has a mama who is willing to explore new things with her and be so sensitive to what is best. Congrats on the baby boy, by the way. Your life is blessed!

Sweet little social Vasi :) If she does go, I hope it works out great for for all of you! I remember when she was born! I can't beleive she's old enough for Pre-K!

I love it! His voice is amazing!!

We're not doing preschool for Xavi, he wants to go now so I'm doing it at home. Plus we don't want to enroll him in school until after we move to Denver so homeschool for preschool is just the way it gets to be. Admittedly it's hard just one extra kiddo, I can't imagine trying to do it with two little munchkins besides the one being schooled! I bet Vasi would like actually going to school, she seems like she'd enjoy it anyway, from how you describe her. :)

Best of luck making the final decision!!

Not really Teddy here, but Sandy. Both boys went to preschool and then we homeschooled. But just know that you are not married to this choice, it is fluid and can change when and if you need it to!
