I thoroughly enjoyed Mimi's post today, and I thought I'd copycat her.

25 years ago I:
- Wasn't even a glimmer in my parents' eyes yet. My sisters were 1 and 3 years old. Actually, I take that back. I guess I was 4 months away from being a "glimmer" so to speak. Hehehe.

- My parents and sisters lived in Atlanta in a big old house that they lived in for free (I think?) because my dad was hired to renovate it.

20 years ago I was:

- Technically three, but I'll go with four years old since my bday is in two months.

- Started preschool at Clairmont Presbyterian.

- I was afraid of the 5-year olds, because on the first day of "school" one of the 5 year olds stuck his tongue out at me, and from that point on I refused to play on the play equipment. I'd only swing on the swings. For the remainder of my childhood, I had a inferiority complex with kids who were older than me. Which might explain why I always dated younger guys, and ended up marrying one.

- Sesame Street was my all-time favorite show.

- I painted one of my first pictures entitled "Best Friends" which was a hit with my teachers. They took it over to the neighboring classroom to show the other teachers. At that point, I knew I wanted to be an artist.

(it's amazing how big of an impression these formative years made on the rest of my life)

15 years ago I:

- was 8 years old

- I was a proud big sister to Matthew Carl Joseph. I was SO THRILLED!

- I was enjoying what ended up being my last year in Georgia.*sniff*

- I was put in the upper level reading group.... made me feel special.

- Mrs. Christopher was my teacher, and she read Amelia Bedelia and Miss Piggle Wiggle.

10 years ago:

- I was 14

- My dad sat us down for a "family discussion" where he sprung Orthodoxy on us for the first time. I was just like, "WHAAAAAT?"

- I visited an Orthodox church for the very first time ever. I think that was the biggest shock (in a good way) of my entire life.

- I started high school.

- I played volleyball and tennis.

5 years ago:

- I was 18

- I graduated from high school

- It was my prolific dating year. Barf. No thanks.

- I was the student body president, was in "Westside Story" and got a lot of clout. A prolific year for my college applications--haha!

- I moved to Newberg and started school at George Fox.

2 years ago:

- I turned 22 years old.

-Started blogging, wahoo!(?)

- Job's grandpa passed away :(

Yesterday I:

- was 23

- visited my good pal Amy in Clackamas and took her out for a "victory lunch" because she just graduated from nursing school! Yay!

Today I:

-remain 23. Visited my elderly friend in the morning, then grabbed some items at the store.

- continue to waste time blogging.

- Am about to set out for walk with my baby and husband (who has the morning off of work--wahoo!)

Tomorrow I:

- Will, Lord willing, go to the beach for my husband's annual family reuinion.

- Will hopefully have confession with Father!

- Will win a million dollars. I just know it. I can smell it in the air.
