12. Favorite item of clothing?
my black danskos... not quite clothing, but they have been a faithful fit these past 10 months... I can't say the same for any other item of clothing. Ooh wait! I'd also have to say my black Lands End polar fleece. I've had it since my senior year of high school and it is still amazing!

16. Where would you retire to?
I plan on staying where I am for a long while, unless we're lead somewhere else.
17. What was your most memorable birthday?
My 18th bday. I had just broken up with a boyfriend 2 weeks prior, and I was miserable. Not eating, catatonic, just depressed. My parents were out of town. Two of my friends came over and we went out and made a movie (that was what we did for fun in our small town). Apparently I was just taken out so I could be distracted while my other friends set up a surprise party for me at my house. My mom had arranged it with my pals, gave them a key to the house and money for party food, etc. Anyways, when we came back to my house I opened the door and all of my good friends were there, SURPRISE! I felt soo, soo special. I'll never forget it.
18. Favorite sport to watch?
Oooh... volleyball, tennis and basketball.

26. Any new and exciting news you'd like to share with us?
Job starts his first big job tomorrow. Scary, but exciting. We might get another car, too. Woot.

an artist (go figure!)
28. How are you today?
I am doing just fine. I really can't complain.

Great answers! Do tell about Job's new job.
Oooh, the new job sounds great! Can you believe the anniversary is coming up so quickly? And, Susannah, that's so pretty.
career adjustment, indeed :) what nice friends to throw you that party! Glad you did this...how's the little chickie? oh, and i promise to send the sling sometime before she is walking, sorry!!
I didn't realize you had Vasilia before you had been married a year! I love that. I'm getting tired of the "5-year plan" that everyone from college is on. They seem to think it's silly to have a baby less than 5 years after one is married. Whatever. I'm all about the honeymoon baby :) My cousin is having her baby 13 months after her wedding.
