People, places, things

I've been pretty busy lately. In fact, for the next four months or so, I probably won't be blogging very often. I'm needing every last minute of free time to focus on school and the paintings for my SENIOR ART SHOW. I have two paintings finished... 6 more to go (between now and April!). Ahh... By the way, if you'd like one of my official announcements for my senior show, let me know! Even if you won't even be able to come, I'll have plenty extra announcements and I'd be glad to send you one. Just e-mail me privately.

This past weekend I went to the monastery in Goldendale, WA. Our Young Adult group was able to go, and it was wonderful. We were only there for one night, but it was worth it. I really needed to get away and get my mind off of all this stuff I have to do.

I was also able to see my little niece on Sunday, and she's doing really well! She looks so happy and healthy :)

Valentine's Day was very nice. Job and I went to dinner (we had a gift certificate left over from Christmas that we were able to use!), and we went to see the Aviator (with some free movie passes Job acquired last month). So all in all we managed to have a very nice evening without paying more than $10. We were thankful.

Please keep the Greek Archdiocese in your prayers today. Tomorrow three names will be presented to the synod (?), each of whom will be considered to replace Metropolitan Anthony as Bishop. This is a huge decision, and even the nuns at the monastery requested prayers regarding this issue, especially because it's important we get a bishop who is supportive of monastacism.

Lastly, I'd like to say Happy Anniversary to my parents! Today marks 31 years--Glory to God! :) I love you Mom and Dad!

Thank you Christina! I will post an announcement on the church bulletin board once I get them next month :)
Right now I'm having a hard time remembering the exact date and time...! :D

Katie,

The Essence of Greece night will give you a good chance to sell a painting at silent auction. Even though the $ isn't for you, it is still nice to know someone bid on your art and was willing to fork over some change for it.
